Hi, I'm Greg.

And I'm Mitch.

And we are AsapSCIENCE.

I'm Burnie from Rooster Teeth.

I'm MatPat from Game Theory and Film Theory.

We're the Slow Mo Guys.

We're here to answer Google questions.

We are doing a Google AutoComplete interview.

Are YouTubers revolutionizing entertainment?

Short answer, I like to think so.

There's a lot of that talk going around.

If you wanted to watch

every single video on Youtube,

you would fall two and a half weeks behind

every minute that you tried to do that.

It's an enormous amount of content.

Are YouTubers narcissistic?

Are YouTubers considered celebrities?

It's a new type of celebrity.

It's kind of like a very niche celebrity.

If we ever do get recognized,

it's like one person screaming at us

and then you're left on a subway ride

with all these people like, what just happened?

I think it's a hard line generationally.

The younger watch all their content on YouTube and

older people watch almost none of their content on YouTube.

Are YouTubers rude?

Well, he's a piece of shit.

Jesus!

So, yeah.

(both laugh)

Are YouTubers in the Illuminati?

I have no comment.

Who sent you?

Is YouTube a job?

(laughs) Is it ever?

Like, I hope it's a job.

That's my job, I think.

Is YouTube educational?

Depends on what part of YouTube you're in, friends.

We got to YouTube all the time

when we wanna learn about how to fix things in our house.

Yeah or like, tie a tie.

Anytime you've gotta fix something,

just look up a YouTube video.

You'll also know how squishy my face is

when you hit it with something.

That's useful to know.

Very squishy face.

Squishy face.

Is YouTube dying out?

I don't think so.

Heavy question.

Oh, girl, controversy! Drama!

Don't kid yourself.

Nothing better has come along yet.

Is YouTube addictive?

Without question.

It's addictive in a good way,

especially if you're on educational content like us.

Fire off that dopamine in your brain.

We've got more!

Oh, man, they just keep comin', here we go.

Does fame bring you happiness?

I don't know, you'd have to ask someone famous.

It's nice when people come up to you and say

I love your videos, it's very flattering.

Does fame matter?

No. I don't think so, yeah.

I don't think you can be happy if you've got no privacy.

Especially with how much you masturbate.

Does fame ruin your life?

Wow, this is getting really dark in a hurry.

Depends completely on the individual

if it ruins your life.

If they let it ruin their life.

I'd say it can do, if you manage it incorrectly.

Does fame equal success?

In the age of Kim Kardashian, it's hard to argue otherwise.

But no, fame by itself, for me,

does not equal success.

Does fame change you?

Yeah, probably. Yeah, it can, yeah.

Are YouTube celebrities educated?

Maybe not formally educated.

But there is being an editor and a writer and personality.

There's also running your own business,

hiring people, tax law.

There's people who make makeup tutorials,

fashion vlogs, gaming videos.

They're experts in what they do.

There's a lot to learn.

I wanna see how many of these answers

I could say it's a mixed bag.

It's a mixed bag.

Are YouTube celebrities entitled to a private life?

I think everyone's entitled to a private life,

but maybe it's gonna changes who decides

to sign up to become YouTubers.

Are YouTube celebrities good role models?

It's a mixed bag.

(Laughs) It's a mixed bag, yeah.

Are YouTube celebrities just like us? Yeah.

I think for the most part, yeah.

Everyone's star loves doing what they love

and they're just doing what they love

at a much higher level

and I think that keeps them very genuine.

Are YouTube celebrities perfect?

Is anyone truly perfect?

Is AsapSCIENCE vegetarian? Oh, shit. (laughs)

We get asked that a lot actually.

No.

We're not.

We applaud everyone who's vegetarian or vegan.

I feel bad about this, I do.

I genuinely do.

What are the Slow Mo Guys' cameras?

The cameras that we use are called Phantoms.

Our cameras film, like, 5,000 frames a second.

What is Burnie Burns real name?

You'll never know.

It disappoints me every single time I hear it.

Is MatPat a brony?

Let's clear the air right now.

No, I'm not a brony.

Is AsapSCIENCE gay? Yas, queen.

Oh yeah, we're gay with each other.

What are the Slow Mo Guys' rocket launchers?

So, in a very early video,

we basically got a drain pipe from the side of house,

Taped up one end. Taped up on end and

just put a firework in it.

That, I suppose, is what we used as a rocket launcher.

Don't do that at home.

Is AsapSCIENCE accurate?

What we do is we synthesize information from

people who devote their lives to

very fascinating, in-depth topics.

What is Burnie Burns gold shorts? (laughs)

On The Amazing Race, they put me in gold hot pants

and now those pictures live forever.

Is MatPat hawt?

Maybe not hawt levels, maybe just H-O-T levels.

Is MatPat hot?

Wow! (laughs)

Here's the thing.

I am visible in this video,

so if you want an answer to it, you have

only to look at the computer screen in front of you.

What are the Slow Mo Guys' names?

My name's Gavin.

I'm Dan.

Nailed it.

Shame on all of you.

I mean, really, some of that stuff is really weird.

Google can't answer every question.

That's the moral of today, friends.

And with that, I'm MatPat and

this has been my Google AutoComplete interview.

I survived.

Thanks for watching!
