  Internet speed is not guaranteed. Individual results will vary as they might be affected by many factors such as the weather, interference from buildings and network capacity.
4. If I need to cancel my contract early, what fees will I incur?
  
  In case you decide to terminate your contract before the end of your contract duration, you will be charged:
  
  A one-month Monthly Recurring Charge (a maximum of AED 99)
  
  Devices cost: Device cost/contract period * (contract period - (1+number of months the customer spent while in the contract))

The Service First Steps
1. How should I use the service?
  
  Follow the guide attached to the package box or follow the instructional video found in the website.
2. Where can I find an OBD socket in my car?
  
  The socket is found in every car from 2004 onwards. In most cases, you can find it in the area under the steering wheel and above the pedals. Refer to the installation video for more details.
1. What is an IMEI QR code?
  
  A QR code allows content to be discovered by simply taking a photo. Just aim the camera at the code square and IMEI will be filled in the app automatically.
2. How can I know if the OBD device is working?
  
  When you connect the device to the OBD socket, the lights in its lower part will light up (this means that it has started to charge and that the modem is starting to work).
  When the white light turns on - WiFi is available.

Application Login
1. I got an error message after opening the application
  
  A. Check if there is a connection problem on your device, and double-check your WiFi or cellular network.
  
  B. Check, that all app permissions are approved:
  
  C. If there are no connection or permissions problems, try to reset the application:
  a. Android – Reset the application with the Android settings menu (Apps->App->Clear App data)
  or
  Uninstall the application and install it again from Google Play
  b. iPhone – Uninstall the application and install it again from Apple Store
1. These are the scenarios when you receive an error message when sending a One Time Password (OTP).
  
  A. If you receive an error immediately after pressing “Let’s start":
  a. Check if there is a connection problem with your phone.
  b. Check if you have sent more than 1 OTP within the last minute. No more than one message per minute can be sent to prevent spamming.
  
  B. If an SMS with a code is not arriving:
  a. Ensure the entered phone number is correct
  b. Ensure, that there is no problem with incoming SMS messages on your phone

Pairing the OBD device with the phone
1. Issues that might happen before sending “Start”:
  
  1. My camera does not recognize the device IMEI QR code
  a. Check out the application permissions
  b. Make sure that you are taking a picture of the IMEI QR code. The code is located on the device or the box
  c. If it is still not working, enter the IMEI manually
  
  2. After entering/scanning IMEI, the application shows the “Wrong IMEI” error
  Make sure that you have entered the correct IMEI (15 digits)
  
  3. Car name and car picture problems
  A. The car name has to contain minimum 3 letters
  B. To take a car picture or to choose it from the gallery, make sure that the application has the camera and file access permissions
1. Got an error after inserting an OTP code and pressing “Start”:
  
  1. The error appears immediately after starting:
  a. Check the connections in your phone
  b. Check with du support if the device is registered correctly
  c. If the OBD device is already paired with another phone number, you will see an appropriate message
  
  2. The error appears about 5 minutes after starting:
  This means the device is not reporting properly.
  a. Check that the device is connected to the car socket
  b. Check that the car switch is turned on
  c. Check if the device's red LED light (data connection) flashes quickly (FASTER than once at 0.5 sec) on the OBD device
  d. Check with du support about the SIM card and OBD device IMEI in the device and if it is configured properly in the du system

Using the application
1. I’m not receiving push messages and in-app messages
  
  Ensure that the “App notifications” option in the menu is on:

  You have two options:
  a. On the main app screen, press the car name and in the opened menu press “Add a car”:

  At “My vehicles” press “Add a car”:
  The pairing car wizard will open.
5. How can I share my car with another user from my phone book?
  
  On the app menu choose “Manage drivers and cars”.
  
  At “Who’s driving” press “Add drivers”:
  The phone book will open. Choose one of the contacts to add.
  Please note: You can share this with up to 10 contacts from your phone address book.
  The contact you shared your car with will receive an SMS with the app link to Google Play or Apple Store. They will need to install the application and authenticate it with their phone, after which they can see your car information, but can’t change the app settings for your car.
6. Which languages are supported by the application?

1. How can I check or update the OBD device version?
  
  Note: The device update process is usually done automatically without user participation. You can also check and update it manually if there is a new version available.
  On the app menu choose the “OBD plug version update” option:

2. How can I reset the application and device settings?

Additional issues

My app does not show all of the service features

The OBD device connects to the car via the OBDII socket in the car. Every car since 2004 should have this socket and work with the OBDII protocol. But some car manufacturers do not support the OBDII protocol in part of their models, for example, Renault Master (2001-2010). These cars still can use the app service, but not all features will work. This table shows which features are supported by the application or not in that case:

The trip is not accurate on the map.

The device default report frequency is once per 10 seconds.
If the car is driving and the application is opened, it changes to once per 2 sec.
But if reports are not arriving on time or not arriving at all, it may cause the wrong trip presentation on the map. The problem may be in the GPRS network or due to bad GPS coverage because the app’s OBD device is covered by the car’s dashboard or other things that prevent the coverage. We advise you to use the OBDII extension cable and put the device in an open place.
Support of electric cars

The app service has no official support for full electric or Plugin Hybrid cars. This feature will be supported in the near future.
My car trips and statistics are deleted

The scenarios in which old data could be deleted (Trips, statistics etc., but not subscription status):
1. Change car (VIN). Inserting paired device into another car
2. Change SIM in OBD device (change IMSI)
3. Manual un-pairing
4. Unsubscribe - 30 days after the device subscription is over
The car had issues when plugging the app device

In some, very rare cases, like some Renault or Fiat vehicle models manufactured before 2010, you may encounter issues when connecting the OBD device. Some car dashboard alerts may appear along with other issues. This will disappear after plugging out the device.

That does not mean that the car has real problems caused by connecting the app’s device.
Why this happens: The app’s OBD plug uses an “external OBD reader” protocol to connect to the car’s OBD. According to worldwide OBDII protocol rules, vehicle manufacturers should not use this type of protocol for internal vehicle devices. But some manufacturers still use it in several of their models, but for older years of manufacture. This may interfere with your device.

To resolve this issue, you may disable the OBD protocol in the device. You can enter the app menu->Advanced settings->Enable OBD option or Web interface device telemetry page and press the “Disable OBD” button.
