I am very passionate about the Professional Services industry and I am lucky that I get to work with some amazing firms and their leaders. In this Workday podcast I am sharing some insights I have learned about the challenges the industry is facing and more importantly what the future looks like. For example, "the great resignation" is over but there is still skills scarcity and high competition for the right talent. Firms also struggle with planning and adapting to change, like re-organizations or executing on M&A strategy. On top of that there is a ton of pressure on increasing operational efficiency and improving margins. And of course there is a lot of disruption in technology with this little thing called Artificial Intelligence! Successful firms will be ones that have a strong skill-based talent strategy, can plan effectively, execute change rapidly, and have innovative technology that supports doing this at scale.
