    Should you gate, or ungate your content? The answer’s neither. Ideally, we all should “Mid-Gate” our content. With mid-gating, you let buyers consume a part of your content and THEN show a form. (Could be after two lines or two pages, depending on the context) This is way better than putting a form up-front because: - Lower friction and lesser time-to-value for your readers - Buyers can disqualify themselves and you’re not wasting time filtering irrelevant leads. We ran the numbers. With mid-gating, our customers report a 20-45% increase in lead capture. And of course, lead quality is a lot better.     The Declaration Of Independence—but make it interactive. (Sorry, T. Jefferson, the parchment and quill weren’t doing it anymore.) In a landscape where interactive content has largely been used by businesses and media outlets (hi, BuzzFeed), here’s a non-profit using interactive content to educate voters and advise policymakers and government officials. Presenting The NewDEAL and their ‘Democracy Playbook’ as part of our Cleverstory Moonshots series. The NewDEAL used Cleverstory to build an interactive playbook to improve election processes, with 40 actionable steps officials should take ahead of the 2024 presidential elections. A 30-page static PDF, The NewDEAL converted the playbook to an interactive experience to make it easy for readers to navigate and consume. With interactive parallax elements, video banners, anchor links and video embeds, the immersive playbook has garnered an impressive average engagement time of 13 minutes.     Why did the whitepaper cross the road? To escape going onto the resource center, duh! On normal days we’d agree — resource centers are a dumping ground for collateral, where content goes to die. Not today. In the next episode of the 'Cleverstory Moonshots' series, we’ve got Safe Systems with a resource center that’s reached the Shangri-La of marketing. Safe Systems provides IT, Compliance and Security services to community banks and credit unions, ensuring current technology and regulatory adherence. Safe Systems wanted to create a single location with content designed to educate the banking community and make their research process worry-free. That’s when they turned to Cleverstory for their Resource Center. The content management platform they were using was not cutting it — challenges with managing the backend, frontend and engagement data had leads slipping through the cracks. With Cleverstory, Safe Systems designed a resource center that was easy to manage, allowed them to build custom content journeys, and got past the limitations of their previous software.
