In the past, typical projects have included providing assistance with growth or marketing strategies, operational planning, feasibility studies and business plan development. I am currently the team lead for the Shearith Israel Night Shelter for Women where our team will be delivering an actionable Marketing Plan that addresses volunteers, donors and the community, and will include: Market analysis including assessment of the organization’s existing marketing activities; assessment of local market presence; guidance and tools to aid the board and key participants in defining the brand and marketing strategy; recommendations regarding the shelter’s name; best practices for achieving compelling message consistency across various marketing efforts; guidance and tools to aid the board and key participants in implementing the marketing plan including best practices to better compete for foundation dollars, donations and volunteers; and recommending inexpensive and simple tools for implementing these best practices.
