If you're talking about how to make your arguments relevant in the ears of business people, then I can only say: Speak their language. And that is: how does UX affect the business outcome in some sort of metric. As a UX agency we're offering a service that we call "UX Audit" but I'm currently pitching it as "Conversion Rate Optimization" and that new title alone gets my foot in the door much easier than "UX Audit". I think it might be because nobody really knows what UX is after all and also because "audit" sounds like work on their end 😅. All we do though is exactly what I think a "UX Audit" is: We look at UX aspects and suggest what could be improved (sorted by impact vs. effort). Soo... 🤷 … communication is key or whatever? Haha. What do you think?
