    ☀ Summer is in full swing, and at Sollers it's time for our Summer Parties! Every year, we gather in our biggest locations to celebrate the warm months with our employees and their significant others. This tradition is all about creating and fostering a team that simply enjoys spending time together.     How do you know if a company is truly #inclusive? And not just advertising it because it looks good on social media, especially during #PrideMonth? 🌈 You don't know. You can never be sure. But there might be some signs.   For example, when employees from diverse backgrounds feel genuinely welcomed and valued, or when open discussions about inclusivity and #diversity are a regular part of the #workplaceculture 💬 Or when people feel that it doesn't matter what country they're from because at work, it's their performance that counts, and the criteria by which it's judged are defined and the same for everyone.     A few more words about #DEI. People spend an average of 40 hours ⌚ a week at work. Whether they like it or not, they come into contact with people outside their bubble.  Friendships, or bubbles, are dominated by people of the same race, psychosexual orientation or background. Research 📊 shows that people form friendship networks based on similarities. For example: if you are a white, heterosexual person, born in country X, living in a big city, with a university degree and children, most probably the majority of your friends will be white, heterosexual people, born in country X, living in a big city, with children. But the work environment is different. Sometimes the workplace is the first place we have the opportunity to experience and talk about diversity, equality and inclusion. Each of us is responsible for how others feel at work; it is not something that rests solely on the shoulders of HR departments or managers. Let's respect the DEI requirements, let's value colleagues no matter what country they come from, let's celebrate diversity and let's admire all the colours of the rainbow 🌈 For we are so beautifully different. #PrideMonth #Diversity #Equality #Inclusion

    When choosing locations for our offices, we place great emphasis on the accessibility of the site. The proximity to public transport means that Sollers can be reached by bus, tram, train and metro. Being in the city centre, as opposed to the outskirts, makes it possible to commute by bike or scooter.   So when we had to move in #Cracow – our local community of 4️⃣4️⃣ Sollers outgrew the office we were using – we decided to open a branch in the Browar Lubicz complex: 3 minutes from the main railway station, 800 metres from the Main Square.     An entire floor of one of the carefully restored historic buildings of the former brewery has been our Cracow base since May. Although the walls remember the 19th century, the infrastructure is thoroughly modern:     - 90 desks for current and future Sollers   - 6 conference rooms   - acoustic booths   - a mobile wall system to create an event and workshop space for 80 people   - friendly open spaces, large windows and lots of greenery   - cycle parking and facilities for cyclists (changing rooms, showers, lockers)   - gym equipped with bars, ladders, dumbbells and yoga accessories   - collaboration/chill out area   We believe that the space we spend time in has a real impact on our wellbeing. That's why we try to make Sollers offices as pleasant as possible to work in.   PS. We started in Cracow 🐉 in 2022 with 7 Sollers. If this is not #teamgrowth, then what is?🚀

    Imagine you were born without eyebrows🙂 When people first meet you, they are a little surprised, but after talking to you for a minute, they realise that you’re a great person. Besides, why would anyone care about your non-existing eyebrows? Their absence from your face can't hurt anyone, can it? Now imagine that one day someone comes up to you in the street and says it’s not okay not to have eyebrows. The person insists that you draw yourself a pair of eyebrows, stick fake ones or get them tattooed. The person says it's unnatural not to have eyebrows. And that many people are actually bothered by the way your face looks. They feel uncomfortable.  It's pretty ridiculous, isn't it❓     💡❗ It's a sad fact that millions of people find themselves in such absurd situations every day. They are attacked simply because they don't fit the definition of a norm developed by a group of people. A definition that has not evolved for decades by a group that isn't even representative of society. FYI – at Sollers, we're okay with whatever your eyebrows situation is. Everyone is welcome.  #BornThisWay #PrideMonth

    Are you familiar with the abbreviation #DEI? It stands for “#Diversity, #Equity & #Inclusion” - three core values that guide the design of everything for people: public spaces, workplaces, leisure activities, patterns of communication, and more.   In human terms 😊, it means creating a society where no one is treated differently—neither worse nor better—based on their gender, age, family and professional status, parenthood, education level, sexual orientation or gender identity, origin, wealth, language, religion, health status, or ability.   June is a time for celebration and raising awareness for LGBTQ+ people. The workplace exposes us to diversity, and at Sollers, we deeply care about the society we build within our company.
