  Gosu Gems Series: Process Completion Monitor The #guidewire ecosystem is powerful and has ready-made solutions to many challenges that developers encounter during design work👩🏻💻This time there was a simple task to do. After completing the work queue processing, you need to inform the other system that it can now start its part of the process.   But contrary to appearances, this is not a trivial task because the work queue works all the time, workers are just waiting for the work item to be processed 😉   But we can also find something for this task in the Guidewire #toolbox. We have Process Completion Monitor batch process at our disposal🧰   The Process Completion Monitor #batchprocess runs at schedulable intervals and examines the ProcessHistory table for all completed work queues and batch processes🔎 It determines if all the work items in that work queue have either been completed or failed and if so calls the BatchCompletedNotification plugin implementation on a process if the process is complete and has no remaining available or checked-out work items⚙️ The IBatchCompletedNotification interface has a 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝() method that you can override to perform specific actions after a work queue or batch process completes a batch of work✅ Wouldn't you say it's another little gem from the Guidewire treasure box?
