☀ Summer is in full swing, and at Sollers it's time for our Summer Parties!
Every year, we gather in our biggest locations to celebrate the warm months with our employees and their significant others. This tradition is all about creating and fostering a team that simply enjoys spending time together.
Remote working is here to stay, and that's why we invest in such events – to ensure we don't lose that connection and the #SollersSpirit. After each gathering we are reminded that the #HybridWorkingModel is the right direction. Together, we have fun, stay motivated, and help each other whenever needed.
Here are some highlights from our summer events in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Poznań, and Paris, with more coming up today in Cologne and Lublin. Have fun 🎉
🚀 Building a Transparent and Resilient Company Culture 🌍
At FRAMEN fostering a thriving company culture isn't just a goal—it's a mission we hold close to our hearts. As the founder, I am dedicated to cultivating an environment where transparency reigns supreme, and every member of our team has a voice that holds equal weight in shaping our path to success.
One of our core values is unwavering transparency. 👀
We believe that by sharing the developments within our organization and the reasoning behind the decisions we make, we create an atmosphere of trust and shared understanding. Whether you're an intern, an apprentice, or a seasoned professional with managerial responsibilities, your thoughts and ideas matter. We're committed to making sure everyone, from every level, contributes to the direction of our journey.
To enable this open dialogue, we've developed a range of platforms that encourage direct interaction with our founders. We believe that diverse perspectives enrich our strategies. Our Town Hall meetings stand as a testament to this commitment. Every month, each department comes together with just a few minutes of preparation to provide updates that transcend silos. From product marketing to sales, technology to operations, finance to product —we ensure every facet of our operations is shared openly. 🎤📣
Our culture thrives on engagement and gratitude. That's why we celebrate Thanksgott is Friday (TGIF) bi-weekly on our Stage. Colleagues from London, Paris, and beyond join us for this occasion, fostering a truly global dialogue. Moreover, we're excited to introduce our International Week, where a colleague from abroad visits our Berlin headquarters monthly. This immersive experience enriches our understanding and enhances cross-cultural exchanges, going beyond video conferences to in-person connections. 🌍🗣️🫷
This commitment to openness and inclusivity is more than just a set of policies—it's the lifeblood of our organization. We firmly believe that by giving everyone a seat at the table, we harness the collective power of our team to steer our success story. We invite you to join us in shaping the future, where transparency, collaboration, and shared growth light our path forward.

Today I read a post of Liz Willits about make things simple and I couldn’t agree more.
Every brand is different.
Every person is different.
And for sure you need a tailor made strategy for each brand, big or small one.
But, dealing with a big brand or with a longer customer journey doesn’t necessarily need making things more complex.
Often, streamline the processes and the flows is the right answer to a lot of questions that arise while preparing a strategy.
For sure some social media strategies require bigger efforts due to the nature of the activities planned.
But, bigger efforts is not equal to make things more complicated.
This work week has been intense and full of learning lessons at Octonano.
And, among them, for sure making things simpler and use efficient processes have been the best ones.

ONCE UPON A TIME,
A new colleague embarked on her first week with a new company and traveled to Munich for the onboarding.
She arrived for her first day, just to be thrown into the company's quarterly event at Oktoberfest, with beer flowing freely and laughter echoing through the tents. As a non-drinker and a stranger to everyone, she felt like a fish out of water in a sea of beer mugs. 🍺
The next day, in the sober light of the office, she found herself isolated, with no one willing to welcome her properly. It was a classic case of onboarding gone horribly wrong.
At Blended Work, we know that team building starts with onboarding. We believe in creating environments where everyone feels safe, included, and valued from day one. No one should have to relive Oktoberfest horror shivers in a professional setting. 🤝
Let us design a quarterly event that your team will remember for all the right reasons. Cheers (pun intended) to a different, more inclusive kind of success! 🌟 #Onboarding#TeamBuilding#BlendedWork#TeamBuildingEvent#PsychologicalSafety

"Why are you leaving your company?"
"In my 2 years at my company I have only met my colleagues F2F once"
This proves how important offering a good company culture.
Although offering remote work and flexibility is just as important, it is necessary to have a strong and clearly defined company culture.
Amongst other things, this ensures:
✨A sense of belonging
✨Good relationships between employees and managers
✨Productivity
✨Employee retention
✨Greater possibility of attracting qualified employees.

1) 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀: the ethics that are dominant in your business will affect many aspects of everyday life in your workplace and should define your policies.
2) 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿
Even if your employees can work from home, make sure you allow for an open flow of ideas
3) 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲Host social events for your team. This can be done, for example, once a quarter, to create an atmosphere of innovation, communication, and trust.
This will improve team bonding and stronger relationships.
Some of our clients organise BBQs and summer/Christmas parties.
Here at Zintek, we do one social every quarter.
Sometimes it's activity-based, like go karting, and sometimes it's more wellness related, like a private yoga session.
And it makes a difference!
Last week we went to "oktoberfest" 🍻
Invest in your employees' happiness and social interactions, it will make a difference!

It’s getting crowded in here – at least when the whole team, no matter where they’re usually working from, comes to visit at our headquarters at the same time. ✨ Which is exactly what happened last week:
Since our quarterly company meeting was taking place on site in our Heidenheim office this time, we took the opportunity to combine all news and other information to share with a small (or, looking at the crowd, not so small anymore) summer festival and invited everyone at THE FORCE to join us for not one but three days. ☀️
Thanks to everyone for taking on the sometimes quite long journey, for all the necessary preparations for an event like this, and – not least – for having such a good time together!

We know cultural matters.
What most managers don’t know, don’t hear and see are the hundreds of people who want a career change.
76% of our clients who aim for career change say that company culture is one of the top 3 reasons for them to leave their current employer.
Here are some ideas for summer company rituals to design a company culture people don’t want to leave. Some of these may or may not be relevant for your business, but they can inspire creativity.
