The Laktar system was a star system within the Klingon Empire.

History and specific[]

The Laktar system was the site of the Battle of Laktar, one of the fiercest conflicts of the Dominion War. The large number of starships destroyed in the system flooded the region with radiation, making sensor scans impossible for months after the end of the war. In the year 2376, Malkus the Mighty had the stolen IKS Gorkon shuttle diverted through the Laktar system in order to elude pursuit.
