In the Federation, a year commonly refers to the Human civilization's Earth year, lasting 365.25 days, or 12 months.

Memory Beta's lists of relevant year articles begins with 1900 and ends in the early 25th century, with additional timeline material picking up in the 32nd century due to USS Discovery's presence in the 3180s decade.
