𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟. 🙏 As you guys have noticed I haven't been posting the last couple of days since I am back in Spain enjoying some holidays.. Last week I had the chance to join the Google - Think Travel event in beautiful Barcelona, learning about the latest emerging travel trends and the challenges + opportunities in this rapidly changing industry, with focus on Google AI. Currently I am spending my holidays here at the Cost Brava close to Barcelona, taking some time to reflect and to relax. 🧘‍♂️ Speaking here with some old friends and seeing how they are living their life, is not only a great way to gain new perspectives, it's also refreshing and encouraging to see that "𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐞". ➡ 𝐎𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈'𝐦 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫. Today, I met with a prospect. The meeting was booked by one of our top SDRs here at Momentum.io. Thanks for your good work, Emilio Gavotti! After the meeting ended, Momentum posted in one of my Slack channels the following: 1. Summary of the call with main topics discussed. 2. MEDDICC and BANT fields suggestion (Automatically saved into SFDC) 3. Next steps and Suggested actions. 4. A beautiful follow-up email crafted with AI. And then... Product Feedback with the overall sentiment of my prospect... and WOW We ended up the meeting scheduling a second call; he will be trying Momentum for 2 weeks and then deciding whether to go or not. I will keep you posted!!

I love when a BRAND becomes a VERB, and this post explains why. Recently, someone asked me in English: “𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙞𝙯𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙚?” and I said wow.. how this brand Bizum (fintech app) is a new verb in Spain. When a brand reaches the point of becoming a verb, it’s clear that it has made a significant impact on society. In the construction industry, there's a misconception that digital systems slow down progress and create friction between the main contractor and the supply chain. But a recent photovoltaic project (ca. 50 MWs) in Spain challenges this belief. Using Sablono, a construction management platform, the project showcased seamless collaboration from start to finish.   Contrary to concerns, Sablono facilitated smooth coordination between the main contractor and the supply chain. Construction Manager Claudio Skarmeta, for instance, collaborated effectively with his EPC contractor using Sablono. Our CEO Joaquin Lippincott wrote about exactly this last week: the economics of genAI reinforces the position of tech giants. Where can startups win in this environment? We already see that OpenAI continuously releases new services that challenges startups that had put a wrapper on ChatGPT. And on the infrastructure side, the big guys offer a thousand input or output tokens for less than a penny, making it difficult for anyone else to build a profitable business in the "pick and shovels" side of the business. Barcelona (com um ecossistema de Startups avaliado em 39 mil milhões de euros em 2022), Madrid (com 24,3 mil milhões de euros em 2022), e também Valência, Bilbao e Málaga. Espanha continua a “bombar” nas startups, (apesar das críticas destrutivas que a política produz todas as semanas). “With approximately 11,000 active startups in 2022, and extraordinary investment numbers, the technology entrepreneurship ecosystem continues to accelerate its growth and strengthen its place among the most important in Europe. A unique feature of the Spanish ecosystem among its European peers is that there are two main hubs, Barcelona and Madrid, among a large group of cities and regions that are successfully fostering technology startups, like Valencia, Bilbao or Malaga, to name just the larger ones”.

Wingle lands in South Summit! As proud members of the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem, we had to attend. Let's be honest: we had doubts on whether "it was worth it" for us at this early stage. Long story short: definitely! Overall, it's all about getting the Wingle name out there. To get Wingle to resonate with corporates, investors and the wider community. About building leads not only for the short term, but mainly for the mid and long term. And having said this... lets connect if you're around!
