With the French government’s recent decision to postpone the EPS ban until 2030, there is a window of time for companies to prepare with sustainable solutions like molded pulp and hemp pulp products. Tahsin’s message is clear: “When you can imagine it, you can do it! We develop and produce plastic-free, molded pulp packaging solutions. Be prepared and don’t wait until the end!” The European elections have shifted the political landscape, and we expect more business-friendly directives while adhering to the European Green Deal. This extension should not be seen as a reason to delay but as a chance to get ahead and innovate with eco-friendly alternatives. 🌿 BELLEVUE PALACE / Environment Week 2024 ATB and PAPACKS present joint project Berlin, June 6, 2024 – The prestigious Environment Week took place in the picturesque grounds of Bellevue Palace from June 4 to 5. This unique event, organized by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU), brought together high-ranking political guests and leading figures from business, science and civil society to present the latest innovations and sustainable solutions for shaping our future responsibly. ATB and PAPACKS present joint research project The Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy e.V. (ATB) and PAPACKS are proud to be jointly represented at the Week of the Environment. The joint research project “PALFAFORM – PALUDI FASERGUSS FORMTEILE” will also be presented at this event. About the PALFAFORM project The PALFAFORM project is dedicated to the development of sustainable packaging solutions made from paludibio mass, in particular plant fibers obtained from peatlands. This innovative technology enables the production of environmentally friendly, biodegradable packaging that represents a real alternative to conventional plastic packaging. Advantages of PALFAFORM Environmentally friendly: Biodegradable and compostable, reduces the amount of plastic waste. Climate protection: Use of moorland plants to reduce CO2 emissions. Sustainability: Continuous and renewable source of raw materials for packaging. Innovative products: Versatile and robust packaging for various applications. Presentation at the trade fair Visitors to the Environment Week were able to find out about the potential of paludibio mass at the ATB and PAPACKS stand. In addition to ecological building materials, peat substitutes for soil substrates and molded fiber parts, sustainable packaging was also presented.
