Tahsin Dag, Founder and CEO of Papacks and President of the EMPPA (European Moulded Pulp Producers Association), is advocating for the entire sector to seize new opportunities. With the French government’s recent decision to postpone the EPS ban until 2030, there is a window of time for companies to prepare with sustainable solutions like molded pulp and hemp pulp products. Tahsin’s message is clear: “When you can imagine it, you can do it! We develop and produce plastic-free, molded pulp packaging solutions. Be prepared and don’t wait until the end!” The European elections have shifted the political landscape, and we expect more business-friendly directives while adhering to the European Green Deal. This extension should not be seen as a reason to delay but as a chance to get ahead and innovate with eco-friendly alternatives. Let’s take this opportunity to push forward sustainable packaging solutions and lead the way in environmental responsibility. #Sustainability #Packaging #Innovation #EMPPA #Papacks #GreenDeal #CircularEconomy Julia Klöckner CDU Deutschlands element6 Dynamics Kimberly Kovacs
