Day 1 of our NYC sustainable finance adventure is off to a pretty stellar start! Before diving into GreenBiz Group's #GreenFin24, our CEO Brad Stevenson and head of marketing Damien Williamson headed right into the den of capitalism as the incredibly thoughtful Jeff Gitterman, of FINTECH.TV, interviewed Brad above the iconic trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange. But the connections didn't stop there. While waiting for Brad's interview, we met Kimberly Kovacs, whose innovative venture at element6 Dynamics is transforming the packaging industry with sustainable hemp solutions. Over lunch, we brainstormed with a fantastic group of sustainability leaders, including Laura Palmeiro (Sustainable Finance Director at Danone), Neil Yeoh (founder of OnePointFive (opf.degree), Treston Rudder (WSP), Aleksandra Dobkowski-Joy (Vice President of ESG at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.), and Kurt Tsuo (co-founder of Flows Energy).
