The makers of Vedaa had released the teaser of the film about two months ago and it pretty much became the talk of the town.
Not only for its gritty and hard core content but also for giving Sharvari the first credit despite the presence of John Abraham in the film. Talking about it in an exclusive interview with ETimes, the actress shared that she wasn’t aware about her name appearing before John’s in the trailer. She said, “It was not something that was discussed with me. But when I saw the teaser, which came to me one night before, the credit lineup was not in it. But when I saw the final thing, it was due to John and Nikkhil sir. John is a huge star, like he's India's action superstar. And you know, for him to give me the first credit, I think that's just his greatness.”
“Even while we were shooting, he always put me forward. He always made sure that I am okay, my scenes are done well, I am comfortable in the action that I'm doing. He is playing my mentor in the film, but in reality, he was my mentor on set as well. And I think that he also is very proud of what the film has become, and he wanted to put my name first, “ she added.
Sharvari also has a spy thriller with Alia Bhatt under Aditya Chopra’s spy universe in the pipeline and she has been taking tips from none other than John Abraham for the film. She said , “I took action tips from John and I still do. When the trailer of Munjya released, he sent me a message saying he really liked it. I replied to him saying 'I'm waiting for some of my action sequences to be released and I'm going to come and meet you, you need to tell me how I can improve, what do I need to do etc.' And we are starting the spy film very soon, so I went to John and said, 'You know this is my workout, this is my diet, what do you think, should I change?'. So John is like my action mentor for life.”
