This should terrify crumbl franchisees and investors. This is the sort of thing a married brand does to squeeze the last stages of value out, not what a growth brand does to keep scaling. Now their brand is associated with a lesser experience, and one they don’t control. Canary potential.

Love this but it would be great if you offered your consumer base a cleaner option. Do we really need more products with red 40 and yellow 5 on the shelves in the breakfast aisle?! The last thing we need is more sugar and dyes for breakfast.
Saw this pallet of cereal at my local Costco Wholesale on Saturday. Had to do a double take and process this brand extension of Crumbl moving into cold cereal. That’s a whole lot of mini cookies waiting to make a splash into a bowl of milk! 🍪 🥛 💦
