“It’s important that my family and I celebrate Juneteenth as it affords an opportunity to teach an often-forgotten history, as we take a moment to reflect and appreciate the hardships of those before us, with a renewed sense of gratitude. It also encourages us to ask the question, ‘how do I affect change in my circle of influence, while being appreciative of the ability to do so?’”   Miasha Morris, tms’ Business Operations Supervisor and BOLD’s Treasury Chair, was just one of the many colleagues who commemorated Juneteenth.  🌟   At tms, we take pride in championing diversity and inclusion through various initiatives hosted by our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Our BOLD group (Black Organization for Leadership & Development) recently celebrated Juneteenth, a U.S. federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery. In Chicago, they hosted a riverboat tour for BOLD members, while in Seattle they organized a cooking demonstration with Chef Tracey MacRae.   Learn more about the events: https://lnkd.in/eMZaXumN

We put the fastest ballers in Europe through their paces in an unforgiving 1 v 1 knockout tournament - where the very fastest made it to the iconic Home of adidas Football in Berlin to be crowned the winners and pick up the match ball in Berlin’s Olympic Stadium.   Huge congrats to our winners and massive shout out to the adidas and Pro:Direct Sport dream teams. We had an amazing time hosting the Women in Football (WIF) event, “Strong Teammates: Fostering male allyship to drive gender equality in football,” at our London office! ⚽️👩✨   Maurice Clarke led a panel of fellow WIF members with support from Kirby Gifford, Tara Tabbara, and Nicole Ono, discussing current inequalities affecting women in the industry and the importance of male allyship.   The event was extremely informative, consisting of a panel discussion touching on ways male co-workers can be allies to their female colleagues. As a proud sponsor of WIF, we are dedicated to elevating women in the workplace by creating an equitable work environment where everyone can thrive.   Thank you to everyone who participated in this meaningful and educational event! 🎉

Thanks to everyone that attended our Strong Teammates event last week supported by #WomeninFootball corporate member tms. It was a brilliant afternoon with a focus on fostering male allyship and driving gender equality in football. We kicked off with a panel discussion hosted by Alison Bender, with WIF CEO Yvonne Harrison joined by fellow board member Ben Carter, the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA)'s Jason Lee and Maurice Clarke from our event host tms. During an engaging panel they discussed some ways in which football's male workforce can be better allies to their female colleagues, and looked at some of the findings from our recent survey. This panel discussion was followed by a UEFA EURO 2024 watch party for the England v Denmark fixture, with lots of great food, drink and overall hospitality from the amazing tms team Kirby Gifford, Tara Tabbara and Nicole Ojo. 📸 Imagery courtesy of Nixon Wong and Harpreet Saini.
