Course Reserves

Course Reserves are materials instructors set aside for a Stanford GSB course.

Borrow Course Reserves

Print Materials

  • Pick up from the i-Desk

  • Most items check out overnight; some popular titles check out for 2 hours.

  • Check SearchWorks for older editions which may check out for longer.

eBooks

  • Access online

  • We recommend reading the eBooks online rather than downloading them. Close the tab when you’re finished reading to ensure your classmates have access to the book.

Place Items on Reserve

Faculty and Faculty Assistants: We automatically put all textbooks submitted to Academic Operations on Reserve. If you want to put additional items on Reserve let us know.

Items that can be placed on reserve include:

  • Books & eBooks
    • If an eBook version is available, we’ll provide the link.
    • If not, we’ll put at least one print copy on reserve.
  • Your personal copies of material — Send them to the library with your name and course number. They will be returned to you at the end of the quarter.

Articles and book chapters — Link to our online articles and book chapters in Canvas. Use persistent links so they are accessible on and off-campus throughout the quarter. If we don’t have online access, submit a Document Delivery request and we’ll try to provide a PDF copy, complying with copyright.
