Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH was hosting the #BOPEsummit this week, a global value chain gathering in Salzburg to discuss the challenges , new developments and opportunities in BOPE packaging and how we can collaborate. Jörgen Kemps from #packaging team and Nicolé Gerrits from our #technology & #innovation team were representing SABIC at this event and participating various activities.

Collaboration between SABIC and Haleon resulted in a #caps made from recycled plastic. A range of #toothpaste caps from Sensodyne Pronamel owned by Haleon, made with certified circular SABIC® PP polymer, that is produced by advanced recycling of used mix post-consumer plastics. SABIC’s drop-in solution polymers are used by SIBO GROUP to produce the cap. This partnership highlights the importance of collaboration in driving sustainability initiatives forward in the #personalcare industry. SABIC and Attero intend to develop a long-term collaboration to bring post-consumer plastic that today are being turned into energy, back into the value chain and help customers with their ambition to apply recycled content in their applications.
