🌊 💛 We're celebrating 25 years of SpongeBob SquarePants with Müller Holding GmbH & Co. KG! 💛 🌊 We're so proud to be working with Müller, a major retailer and our cooperation partner, to celebrate 25 years of SpongeBob SquarePants with a special campaign against marine pollution! For every SpongeBob toy purchased, Müller will fund us to collect litter from ocean beaches together with our 4,500+ collectors worldwide. This initiative not only celebrates the birthday of the iconic character Spongebob, but also contributes to a cleaner and healthier ocean. We celebrate today's World Oceans Day with an MBRC® the ocean x TOM TAILOR update: We will continue our long-term collaboration. Actively engaging in freeing our waters from plastic waste. Home near the sea, we've always cared for the valuable resource. Since 2021, we team up with MBRC the ocean – supporting clean-up communities in Indonesia. Both, with donations and on a personal, direct level. In 2023, we launched our docu series 'Portraits of Change' portaying Marta Muslin (Ica), one of the community leaders building a full waste management system. We helped to collect trash at the beach. And we introduced two Denim Tom Tailor collections made with recycled plastic that otherwise would have ended up in our oceans. Together we support five Indonesian communities, collecting 81.569,8 kg Coastal Waste in the past year. We are excited to continue our collaboration – signing a 3-year-contract in 2023.

Gemeinsam für den Meeresschutz 💙🧡 Der heutige World Ocean Day hat für uns bei Müller schon seit Jahren einen ganz besonderen Stellenwert. 🌊 Denn gemeinsam mit MBRC the ocean haben wir nicht nur in Kroatien einen Cleaning Hub aufgebaut, sondern sind noch weitergegangen und haben auch auf Malta einen weiteren Cleaning Hub gestartet. 😍 Bei gemeinsamen Aktionen wurden bereits über 30.000 kg Müll von den Stränden gesammelt. MBRC the ocean setzt sich zudem vor Ort für die Umsetzung eines nachhaltigen Abfallmanagementsystems ein. Dadurch kann der gesammelte Kunststoff gereinigt und wiederverwendet werden. Das Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit beim ersten Clean-up auf Malta am Qawra Point Beach in St. Paul's Bay kann sich sehen lassen: Insgesamt über 143 Kilogramm Abfall wurde von 32 Helfern gesammelt, die an der Aktion teilnahmen. Zu den Freiwilligen zählen unter anderem Mitarbeitende von Playmobil und Müller Holding GmbH & Co. Additionally, practice responsible boating and diving, reduce chemical use in your yard, and support circular economy initiatives by buying products made from recycled materials and recycling properly.
