Starting Monday, July 8, 2024, we will be rolling out an engaging quiz across all indoor media platforms, including PV Infoscreens, mall displays, station screens, and Giant Indoor screens. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the critical issue of ocean pollution and encourage active participation. To mark World’s Ocean's Day, Playmobil joined forces with Müller and MBRC the ocean to launch a cleaning hub on our islands on June 04, 2024! Committed to a clean environment, Playmobil partnered up on this clean up event at St Paul’s bay, collecting 143 kilograms of waste with the help of Playmobil volunteers. With various Playmobil playsets already produced from plant-based or recycled plastics, the company wants to raise awareness about sustainability and environmental issues to prevent plastic pollution.

Today it´s 🌊 WORLD OCEAN DAY 🌊 - let´s celebrate it together by spreading awareness and helping to save our oceans. Our oceans are essential for the health of our planet, but they face many threats. Here are some tipps how each one of you can make an impact - it doesn't matter how big it will be! To save our oceans you could - Help by reducing plastic use - especially single used items - Participate in beach cleanups like the ones we organize world wide with our community and partners! - Choose sustainable seafood and using eco-friendly products - Reducing your carbon footprint - Supporting ocean conservation organizations like ours - Spreading awareness is also crucial. Additionally, practice responsible boating and diving, reduce chemical use in your yard, and support circular economy initiatives by buying products made from recycled materials and recycling properly. I am incredibly fortunate to be part of MBRC the ocean Beach Cleanup drive in collaboration with Planet Blue Trust. This initiative is more than just a cleanup; it’s a movement dedicated to protecting and preserving our oceans. Participating in this drive has been a transformative experience, opening my eyes to the critical importance of maintaining our natural habitats. From the very start, the drive was well-organized and welcoming. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds came together with a common goal – to make a difference. Equipped with gloves, bags, and a shared determination, we scoured the beach, collecting litter and debris that not only marred the beauty of our coastline but also posed a threat to marine life. The sense of camaraderie was palpable as we worked side by side, sharing stories and encouraging one another. It was heartwarming to see the community come together for such a vital cause. Every piece of trash we picked up was a small victory, a step towards a cleaner, healthier ocean. Participating in the cleanup drive, alongside the dedicated efforts of Planet Blue Trust, has deepened my appreciation for our environment and reinforced my commitment to sustainability. It’s a reminder that every action, no matter how small, can contribute to a larger positive impact. I am proud to be part of a community that values and actively works towards preserving our planet.
