Kru Chon received the nickname "The Little Giant" because, despite his small stature, Kru Chon has an aggressive, dominating style of MuayThai. This Muay Thai gym is fantastic! My fiancé and I were looking for a gym to learn Muay Thai and came across this one. The instructors and staff are extremely welcoming and great determine your comfort level to start learning.

The classes are a great work out and the instructors make sure to partner you up with other attendees at various levels so you can both learn, be challenged and experience styles of different people.

If you're looking to learn Muay Thai, get a great work out, and be part of a friendly community, I highly recommend this gym!

I highly recommend this Muay Thai gym. The instructors are knowledgeable and push you to be your best. The atmosphere is welcoming, unlike some other gyms. If you want to train hard and well this is the place for you. There is a spot here for all levels. If you are a beginner, seasoned professional training for your next fight or anything in between you will find training useful here. You will not be disappointed if you choose to join.

My sister is a martial artist, and she finally convinced me to get back into it with all the training that she's done over the years. I found a connection to Muay Thai in particular, but I couldn't really connect with the MMA gym that she trains at. I looked elsewhere, but my 1st year in grad school took over. After traveling to Bangkok, Thailand a month ago for my study abroad program and retraining in basic fundamentals at authentic Muay Thai gyms over there (Watchara Gym and Jaroenthong Muaythai Gym), I realized then and there in Thailand that I needed to train in pure Muay Thai and true Thailand coaches without the influence of MMA (just my personal preference and as a South East Asian/Pacific Islander, I felt a deep connection to Thai culture that I wanted to continue to learn upon returning back to the US).

One of my college friends recommended Little Giant Muay Thai as one of her good friends trains there regularly. I checked it out for a week trial, and as soon as I entered the gym, it instantly felt like the Thailand gyms that I was in just two weeks prior at the beginning of my week trial.

Kru Chon, Kru Roger, and Coach Nate are genuine people and they made me feel comfortable right away. They were warm and welcoming, but once class started, they make sure you put in the work. I'm still getting my feet back into regular training that I used to do at a traditional gym before grad school, but I'm very thankful for Little Giant Muay Thai pushing me to get past my current limitations.

I have no aspiration of becoming a professional fighter, but I truly do want to learn the sport of Muay Thai as a martial *artist* to continue to pay respect and honor to Thai culture that I deeply felt in my brief stint traveling in Thailand back in April 2023. We work on combinations, striking drills, footwork drills, and so much more. I'm also sure to practice for an hour when I get home, and I'm determined to get more training as my body adapts better to the sport.

Thanks Kru Chon, Kru Roger, and Coach Nate for creating this space. I'm excited and driven to get past my limitations and improve under you.

As I approached an age where fitness and vitality seemed more of a necessity than a luxury, I took a leap of faith and joined this unassuming Muay Thai gym. Little did I know then, it would turn out to be the best health-related decision I've made in years.

In my search for a regimen to challenge and invigorate me, I have found much more than I expected since joining this gym last November. Remarkably, I managed to shed a full 10 pounds within just two months, without altering my diet in any significant way. This testament to the effectiveness of the training was an encouraging surprise.

What truly makes this gym shine, beyond the tangible results, are the passionate individuals at its heart. Kru Chon, coach Nate, and Kru Roger are not merely instructors; they are professionals who adore what they do, and their passion for Muay Thai resonates in every session. The passion and knowledge they bring to the table infuse each workout with an energy that is truly infectious.

This is a small, intimate gym where the community is everything. A welcoming atmosphere permeates the place. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted by smiling faces, encouraging words, and a wealth of tips and advice from your fellow members. The culture here has a distinct lack of egos, and feels more like a family than a typical gym.

The feel-good factor is also noteworthy - every session leaves me brimming with energy and a sense of accomplishment. The positivity and camaraderie that define this gym make every visit a rewarding experience.

Furthermore, this gym is more than just a place for adults to get fit. I was so enamored with the experience that I decided to introduce my 7-year-old daughter to the sport, and she has taken to it with enthusiasm. Seeing her improvement day by day has been an unexpected joy, reaffirming the decision to bring her along.

In short, this Muay Thai gym is a gem. It is a place where one can find not just a pathway to better health, but a welcoming community and an avenue for personal growth. I cannot recommend it enough. Here's to shaping a better you and finding a new family along the way!

If you're looking for a serious gym that has an extremely friendly and positive vibe, this is it. Our kids have been training here for two months now and they love it. We have a kid in each class: Tiny Giants, Young Giants, and Teen Giants.

Every single class, Kru Chon and Coach Nate both bring the same experience, consistency and enthusiasm. They have the kids work on conditioning their bodies as well as work on technique. The difference in their strength and stamina has been incredible. I love how my kids are getting stronger and healthier as well as learning a practical life skill.

I also love how the kids are still having fun in class, playing games while also practicing good manners and sportsmanship. I couldn't recommend this gym more.

There are adult classes offered throughout the entire week. Many professional fighters train here as well. So if you're looking for yourself to compete or get healthier and stronger, or for your kids, this place fits all your needs.

This gym is amazing! Right when you walk in there are people working their asses off! You can instantly tell Kru Chon and his fellow trainers care about your progression and dedication to Muay Thai. One of the biggest aspects about this gym that stuck out to me was the communal vibe in the gym. I was talking to Chon after a class discussing this and he said it best, "we're like family". I was only able to do two classes and I have to say, from a guy that enjoys fitness and working out - it's a tough fucking workout, but incredibly worth it. I have never done any martial art or training, but the attendees and trainers here will help you instantly understand it. Sadly I have to go back to school but, I will definitely be coming back. Thank you to all the trainers and classmates for giving myself an incredible introductory experience!!

Best kept secret in the DMV. Kru Chon is a fantastic coach in a way you rarely find- a Thai champ who's trained fighters around the world but who's also a humble, compassionate coach with a gift for meeting each student where they are. I've trained at other gyms throughout the years, and I've never received such useful, individual help, even during a group class. Kru Chon has that gift where he manages to inspire each student to do just a little better than last time, to try just a little more, but he never demands anything he knows you can't do. All of the students I've met here have been welcoming and low-ego (none of the chest-pounding nonsense that's a staple of most places). I suck, but I never feel awkward or embarrassed - Kru Chon, Nate and the students are all focused on improving themselves rather than showing off. A+

I was looking for a Thai Kickboxing gym for a while. I did couple of trial and I decided not to look further because everything I saw inside this gym is sincere, true, and full passion. I highly recommend you to try out this gym if you are really serious about building yourself.

Been going to little giant for about 5 months now. Started with zero experience but kru chon and the team has helped me grow day by day. Kru is very patient and helps you learn various techniques in different ways. He pays attention to detail and helps build a foundation for those who have never trained before. If you're looking for somewhere to start with a great environment then little giant is the place for you.
