I showed up to Tysons for a kickboxing conditioning class I found through ClassPass. I didn't know what to expect, I have no experience with any sort of boxing. They provided gloves for free and hand wraps I believe were like seven dollars.

During the class we were given about 4 to 5 different stations to work out in and each we're different workouts. It was fast pace, there will be no air conditioning inside so I had to step out for a second during our break.

Overall I had a great experience and I have been thinking of returning for another class I definitely recommend it!

Absolutely love this place. They have everything you need from getting into shape or if you want to box competitively. The owner Dean is very knowledgeable and a great guy. They don't try and lock you in on memberships like most gyms try and do.

I've attended 2 Boxing classes both with Michael Diaz. It's a great workout to put it lightly! It is a little hard catching on & remembering the names/punches (upper, jab, cross, etc) since I'm so used to Title boxing class format where they use numbers instead of the names. On the weekend, he likes to switch up the boxing class to include circuit training which I enjoyed! It was 30 minutes of circuit rotations (box jumps, battle roping, push-ups, weighted squats, etc). and the class ended with 30 minutes of boxing. The studio itself is a little on the smaller side compared to other boxing studios, but it is clean and have plenty of parking spots available. I would be a regular here if it wasn't a hassle to drive to Tyson's on the weekdays!

Came here after searching for a boxing class. My wife and I came to the area to visit. We had called Urban Boxing which we used to be members when we used to live here. They didn't offer drop in rates so went to Tyson's city instead.

We were not disappointed with Tyson's city boxing. We went to a Tuesday morning class. Purchasing a drop in class was seamless and easy. Instructor was so nice and helpful.

Class was a nicely paced 60 min which was perfect for us since we haven't boxed in a year. We heard the morning class is a bit easier which I think it's smart. I wouldn't make it through the day if it was too intense. I ended up taking an hour nap anyway that day and was still sore the next few days.

We stayed at the Hilton which was a short 7 min drive and very convenient. Definitely coming back and would recommend you try it out if you want no frills boxing class to burn some calories.

I love this place! Awesome trainers, clean facility! They keep motivating you and make the workout very much doable. Dean is the best! Can't wait to get back to it this summer!

      First to Review

I'm not sure how this place doesn't have tons of reviews but I'll gladly be the first. I've just completed my second class here and I love the studio already and will be back again tomorrow for my third. The kickboxing class is good for all levels but if you haven't been to a kickboxing class before, you may need further demonstration but you should be good otherwise. The strength and conditioning class is really good for just that, gaining strength and conditioning your body. The trainers are all encouraging as well. I'll definitely continue coming and highly recommend this studio.
