About us

Hi, we’re Tails.com. A pet food subscription company with a big mission. We believe there should be no average dog food because no dog is average. So we deliver 100% tailored nutrition to each and every dog we serve. It all starts with a few simple questions about your dog’s age, breed, activity level and flavour preferences. Then our experts create a one-in-a-million kibble blend – just for them. Everything they need and a taste they love, delivered to your door every month. It’s pretty clever stuff. We’re cooking up big plans. Having created an entirely new category in pet food, we’re scaling fast in the UK and Europe – backed by Purina, one of the world’s largest pet food companies. In 2024 we became B Corp certified. But it's more than a badge, it's how we operate. Every member of our team is committed to upholding high social and environmental standards, to create a better world for dogs - and humans - for generations to come. We’re working together towards a common goal – to change the world of pet food for good.

Today our new tails.com brand campaign goes live in the UK. In our new advert we share our belief that there’s no such thing as an average dog, something that sits at the heart of our mission to change the world of pet food for good. Set in the joyful and slightly dream-like world of hundreds of Labradors we see how our hero dog Bailey, and his 100% tailored dog food from tails.com are both Never Average. The new brand film is complemented with a new DRTV campaign, along with Out of Home coming soon to London and the South East, making tails.com unmissable. Thank you to our friends at The Or who have worked so hard on this campaign over the last year, along with director Max Siedentopf, Riff Raff Films , Mathematic Studio, Creative Outpost and Goodstuff who led the media planning, along with CHS who created the new DRTV. We’ve also been partnering with the brilliant team at Mother Design on our tails.com brand refresh which goes live today as well across our website - a fresh new look, same 100% tailored nutrition for your dog. https://lnkd.in/dVDKey3c

Our '5 questions with' series is back! 🙌 First to take it on in 2024 is Arzu Galian, our Food & Nutrition Manager. Keep reading to find out how she believes every experience is an opportunity to learn, and her not so secret talent for eating lots of Turkish delight 🙊 1️⃣ What was your first paying job? It was at a jam and Turkish delight factory as a quality controller in Turkey. It was a massive learning curve for me, despite staying only for 4 months. I managed to eat a lot of Turkish delight... but never did learn how to make one myself! 2️⃣ What advice would you give to your younger self? I would say that even the worst experiences will add to the person you'd be in the future. As a result you'll become more resilient and better understand others who may be going through a tough time. 3️⃣ What is your proudest Career Achievement? Getting an A grade result for my first BRC audit (it's now called BRCGS) when I first took on a technical manager role, now about 14 years ago. It was the first time I was in charge of this super stressful audit and it meant so much to me to pass it with good results. 4️⃣ What is the most important thing you have learnt? Everything can be resolved with a calm head. 5️⃣ What excites you about your job? I have a team of 6 excellent food technologists and nutritionists, who are very passionate and knowledgeable about all animals and dogs' nutritional needs. I am so lucky to be part of such an inspiring team. I take pride in knowing our products help pets to get their nutritional needs, whilst being convenient for their owners. I wish there was a similar set up for parents! #lifeattailsdotcom

Debs and Bluebell's lives were changed for good when they met the StreetVet team ❤️ The free vet care Bluebell received dramatically helped improve her skin condition, and when they were offered a place in a StreetVet Accredited Hostel, it meant they could stay together when they became homeless. With around 320,000 people currently experiencing homelessness in the UK, and anywhere up to 25% of them having a pet, our long-term charity partners StreetVet offer vital support services and we’re incredibly proud to be able to help them reach more people and pets in need. #ChangeAPetsLifeDay Some footage used was kindly recorded for StreetVet by The Meraki Initiative, SHB Creative Content, Ceva Animal Health UK and Scout Design.
