Vicky Kaushal, Shah Rukh Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and other Bollywood stars celebrate team India's return after 2024 World Cup victory

India’s triumph in the 2024 T20 World Cup was met with exuberant celebrations as the nation welcomed its cricket heroes back home. The Rohit Sharma-led team clinched victory against South Africa in a thrilling final match, securing the trophy on June 29, 2024, in Barbados. The Men in Blue returned to Mumbai on July 4th to a jubilant reception from fans and a city-wide celebration.
Upon their arrival, Team India was greeted with cheers and applause from throngs of fans.The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) organized a grand felicitation ceremony at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. The celebrations kicked off with an open-bus trophy tour that started from Marine Drive, allowing the team to share their triumph with the enthusiastic public.
The victory parade caught the attention of Bollywood, with numerous celebrities expressing their joy and pride on social media. Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Ayushmann Khurrana were among the first to congratulate the team.

Shah Rukh Khan shared an emotional message on X (formerly Twitter), expressing his pride and joy for Team India's achievement. King Khan described the victory as an "amazing moment" and encouraged the team to celebrate and dance in their triumph.

Vicky Kaushal posted a heartfelt video on Instagram capturing the victorious moment at Wankhede Stadium. The video showcased the team chanting AR Rahman’s ‘Vande Mataram’ with Virat Kohli leading the group, proudly draped in the Indian tricolor. Kaushal captioned his Instagram story with, "Welcome Home CHAMPIONS!" adding an Indian Flag, emotional face, and red heart emojis.
Ayushmann Khurrana also shared the same celebratory video on his Instagram story, adding a Tricolor sticker and writing, "Welcome home boys."

Other Bollywood stars joined in the celebration, sharing their joy and pride for Team India. Ananya Panday acknowledged the Men in Blue in her Instagram story, while Sanjana Sanghi posted a video of the massive crowds gathered at Marine Drive to welcome the team. Sanjana captioned her post, "Yeah we take our cricket very seriously," reflecting the nation's passion for the sport.
