Ritabhari Chakraborty has not been keeping for a while. She was recently admitted to a hospital and has undergone a surgery. The actress was diagnosed with multiple stones in her gall bladder, for which she underwent the surgery. Ritabhari’s mother, a poet, activist and filmmaker Satarupa Sanyal and her sister, actress Chitrangada Satarupa have been by the actress’ side throughout.
As per sources, the actress is stable after her surgery and recovering well. However, she is to be under professional observation before she is discharged from the hospital.

The ‘Fatafati’ famed actress has been unwell throughout the shoot of her upcoming film ‘Bohurupi’. However, Ritabhari continued shooting for the film till the end. She even posted a bunch of photos from the set of the film after the shoot was wrapped.
Ritabhari recently celebrated her birthday with her family and friends. The actress turned 32 in June. Her mother, Satarupa Sanyal, wished her daughter Ritabhari with a self-written Bengali poem. Satarupa shared a few pictures of toddler Ritabhari on her social media profile and the fans of the actress poured their blessings on her.

Chitrangada Satarupa, the ‘Tikli & Laxmi Bomb’ actress also took to wish her beloved sister a happy birthday. Chitrangada shared an adorable wish for Ritabhari with a couple of photos of them. Chitrangada wrote, “Forever might be just a word but there are way too many feelings, promises and emotions residing in it. And I will be holding you forever with my bony arms. No matter what! Happy birthday to my first friend and playmate. May love and happiness hug you till eternity. I lalu”

Ritabhari has recently worked in box office approved films like ‘Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti’, ‘Fatafati’. Ritabhari is awaiting her Durga Puja release ‘Bohurupi’, directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, where she will be seen sharing the screen with her ‘Fatafati’ co-star Abir Chatterjee once again.
