Bokaro: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on July 7. In Bokaro district, 10 examination centres have been established to accommodate 5,100 candidates from various locations.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts: Paper-1 from 9.30 am to 12 noon and Paper-2 from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm, with each paper lasting two and a half hours.
CTET city coordinator and principal of DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar, announced on Thursday that extensive preparations have been made to ensure a peaceful and malpractice-free examination.
Gangwar explained that CTET is a national-level exam organised by CBSE to select eligible and skilled candidates for the teaching profession. It consists of two papers: Paper-1 for candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to V, and Paper-2 for those aiming to teach Classes VI to VIII. TNN
