🚀 Embedded insurance is an exciting new innovation. No. It’s not! But it does offer huge opportunities for smart insurance innovators to: • 🌍 Expand into new markets • 🤝 Secure close ties with clients • 📈 Increase customer touchpoints • 🏃♂️ Outpace competitors • 🔮 Align with future market needs Embedded insurance has been around for years. It’s long been bundled with credit card offerings. But now it’s the focus of a surge of innovation that’s delivering an array of smart products and services. They range from personalized app-based travel insurance to parametric risk cover that protects customers from the consequences of extreme weather. “Embedded insurance is not an innovation. But to make it really impactful, it requires a lot of innovation,” says Sébastien Fabre at Allianz Partners. Fabre was speaking at an online event hosted by Allianz Partners and Qorus. The event examined the growing influence of embedded insurance in travel services. Allianz Partners is delivering embedded insurance offerings direct to consumers through its new allyz mobile app. The insurer is also providing embedded insurance capabilities to business partners such as Delta Airlines. Sébastien Fabre identified key challenges when developing embedded insurance offerings: • 🔍 Providers selection • 💻 Technology integration • 🛠️ Middleware resources and skills • 🏢 Business and technology support • 📜 Regulation Other specialists, Balint Bese from Erste Magyarország in Hungary, Matthias Ruefenacht from Swiss insurer Baloise CH, and Perry McShane from Irish insurtech Blink Parametric, also shared their insights at the event, which was moderated by the Embedded Insurance Community Lead Sarah Kocianski. This webinar was the third in a series of four planned online events focusing on mobility, cyber, travel, and health. Qorus Embedded Insurance Community, in partnership with Allianz Partners, is now open for new members. Grab this opportunity and join us in this community: https://lnkd.in/gwSnnVuy Keen to know more? What’s the biggest danger facing banks when implementing AI? Employee resistance, security breaches, over-spending? It’s time for banks to stop looking at which functions they can enhance with AI. Instead, they should start building their organizations around the capabilities of AI. Rapid advances in AI and robotic process automation (RPA) are ushering in a new era of intelligent organizations. Opportunities for banks are immense. Intelligent workflow systems, hyper-personalized customer experiences, automated compliance, and self-testing cybersecurity, as well as many other functions, could all be integrated into the intelligent fabric of an organization. An agentic revolution is approaching that will see AI agents control and manage business processes in collaboration with humans, says UiPath’s Andrada Covaci. Andrada was speaking at an online event, hosted by Qorus and UiPath, that discussed how AI will transform the work performed in banks. Andrada also shared insights into the research conducted by UiPath and Qorus into how banks are applying AI in their organizations. Other key speakers were Gurhan Cam of DenizBank’s Neohub in Turkey, Florence Bamwine at Uganda’s DFCU Bank and Tazo Lezhava at TBC Bank in Georgia. We are currently finalizing the key findings of our upcoming report for this topic of AI at Work from the perspectives of Customer Experience, Operational Efficiency, Risk and Employee Experience and will keep you updated on its release. Stay tuned for insights! #BankingTechnology #DigitalReinvention #AI in #Banking

🌟 Embedded insurance and AI are two of the most powerful forces shaping the insurance industry 🌟 What happens when they’re combined? We asked some experts during the Reinvent Forum in Lisbon. Relations between consumers and insurers will change dramatically, according to Joe Mason, Global Head of Product Management and Innovation at Allianz Partners. Insurers will be able to combine embedded insurance with GenAI, for example, to provide customers with a digital policy-concierge that could answer questions about their cover. Customers concerned about whether they’re covered for specific risks could simply speak to the digital policy-concierge via an app on their smart phone. What’s more, the policy concierge could provide customers with proactive advice that alerts them to threats they may not have considered. “You don’t know what you don’t know. Whether it’s about finance, housing or your children’s education, there can be gaps in your knowledge that you’re unaware of until something happens. GenAI will enable you to ask a machine whether, based on all the data available, you are safe. That’s a massive upside,” said Joe Mason. Arno de Wever, EMEA lead for commercial P&C insurance at AWS, believes GenAI could be used in tandem with embedded insurance to deliver “empathetic” insurance products that match the needs of each customer. “Within minutes, GenAI could provide an insurer all the information it needs to create a product tailored specifically for a particular client. It could prompt customers with questions that give insurers the information they require to establish the right price, premium and warranties,” said Arno. Want to know more?
