Why is understanding business context, technical framework und user groups crucial for user-centric design of portal experiences? 🤔 What are the #designsystem standards when it comes to designing customer & expert portals? ❓ These topics and more were the centerpiece around which the recently held ‘All Hands’ workshop by members of our UX #Community of Practice revolved.🌌 As you probably know, these once in six weeks workshops are rightly leveraged by community members to participate in deep dives on #topics of #interest and conduct cross-domain #exchanges and #collaboration.🔗 Guided by Alina Rubina and Maria Fernanda Escallón Bolaños, this ‘All Hands' session delivered impressive outcomes like a better understanding of portal #organization and its #business values within Allianz’s Business Master Platform.👏 We had experts like Víctor Sauri Santacreu from Development Platforms and Enablers Center of Excellence, who clarified the role that portals play in supporting main business #processes before doing a deep dive into portals’ #architecture.🧬 Yes, we know how #valuable portals are to business but what tools would you recommend when working on portals design projects? ⚙️ With respect to that topic, we had Pimteera C., UXC and Micha Block in place to guide us using Allianz’s New Digital Brand Experience (NDBX) #reusable #component #library. 🧰 By providing guidelines and interaction patterns for Portals, #NDBX supports the designers’ endeavors to connect various applications into a cohesive portal experience.👏 This design system has already been leveraged in the design of several portals within the Allianz portal ecosystem. 💪 In order to understand these different portal expressions, their user groups and business needs, we had Customer/User Experience representatives like Christoph Deuter, Tim Dobbins, Maria Fernanda Escallón Bolaños, Sebastian Glathe and Hanna Gutheil to introduce portals within the ecosystem like the Commercial Underwriting Workbench, Sales Digital Workstation, Customer Service Portal, Global Claims Provider Portal and Sales Management Portal respectively. 🙏 Connecting various knowledge domains with design standards and digital products, it led to a super engaging session with high knowledge value and we cannot wait to tell you about the next one coming up in September! 😊 #Allianz #AllianzTechnology #GDF #UXUI #UXCoP #DesignSystem
