At Darta we are proud to be a signatory to Ireland's Women in Finance Charter, and were delighted to attend their second Annual Report in Dublin Castle last week. The launch the second Annual Report of the Charter by Minister for Financial Services Neale Richmond is an important milestone and highlights the significant progress that has been made since it was established. We believe in gender diversity at all levels of our business. We are proud to be one of 91 signatories to Ireland’s Women in Finance Charter, demonstrating our commitment to increase women’s participation in our company. #IrelandWIF

A number of Darta staff had the privilege of wrapping up Pride month by attending the OUTLaw Network annual Pride brunch. This wonderful morning was hosted at the Gresham Hotel, followed by marching in the Dublin Pride Parade! Thank you to OUTlaw for hosting yet another fantastic Pride brunch - it was a a great opportunity not only to socialise, but also to show solidarity and learn about the work that OUTlaw do for the LGBTQ+ community. We look forward to attending next year!

We recently held our second annual Summer BBQ in the fabulous Heritage Hotel in Laois. The event was organised by our wonderful Sports and Social committee, and was a great opportunity to relax, enjoy some delicious food and have fun outside of the office!

The Lincoln Recruitment Irish Early Career Awards celebrate excellence and recognise the achievements of brilliant professionals who are in the first 7 years of their career in Ireland, and rewards innovation, best practice and outstanding achievement across a broad range of professional sectors. This is sure to be a wonderful evening, celebrating exceptional professionals and organisations.

Last week we hosted a Paint & Sip for the third week of #PrideMonth in support of Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre. Outhouse a dedicated to supporting the people, spaces, and issues important to the LGBTQ+ communities. Staff had the opportunity to tap into their creativity, and enjoy some relaxed time with their colleagues! It is always great to see such great enthusiasm from staff for these events, and to see everyone’s artistic skills!

Darta is very passionate about #ESG and #CSR contributions, and we are very excited to collaborate with the One More Tree Foundation in their planting and restoration initiatives across Europe. The Darta Forest is located in Poland, and currently has 57 trees - a tree per employee. The One More Tree Foundation is a response to the challenges associated with climate change. Their primary goal is to plant a million trees in Poland and Europe, but their mission is much more. As a non-profit organization, they not only plant trees but also stand guard for environmental protection and knowledge dissemination. Biodiversity restoration is a demanding process that requires time, dedication, and expertise in several different fields to achieve real, tangible results. We are also delighted to showcase our new #BugHotels that have been installed at our office in Maple House - Bug hotels have many benefits such as biodiversity support, pollination and habitat creation. They are a simple but effective way to have a positive impact on the environment.  

We were thrilled to celebrate the second week of #PrideMonth by bringing back Virtual Drag Bingo hosted by Phil T Gorgeous. The aim of the event was to champion importance of diversity of identity, and also inclusivity. Darta aims to foster inclusive and safe environment for all employees, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or expression– and also to have some fun while doing so!

We were delighted kicked off #PrideMonth with an enlightening Allyship Talk hosted by Belong To , a national youth service for LGBTQ+ young people in Ireland. We have worked with Belong To in the past and they always provide valuable insights into the LBGTQ+ community. It was heartening to see our staff engaging in this important conversation, both in person and virtually. As we embark on this journey of celebration and support, let's remember that Pride is not just about June—it's about fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and acceptance year-round. Thank you to our staff for their continued enthusiasm and commitment to embracing diversity and creating an inclusive workplace.
