Besides amazing cake and a warm welcome, they were also treated to engaging discussions and a glimpse into the work of Tobias E., Florian Boser, Niklas Hölter, Nick Wierich and Philipp M. Pflüger Who is #ChemInnovation? ChemInnovation is focused on automating chemical analysis through artificial intelligence (AI). By applying cutting-edge machine-learning techniques, they automatically elucidate molecular structures at unprecedented speeds in a user-friendly environment. This empowers researchers, developers, and analysts across industries to identify substances quickly and accurately in their samples, requiring only simple, non-high-resolution GC-MS spectra or chromatograms, regardless of file format or instrument manufacturer. Automation all the way! The young team is pushing to generate more data to train their AI by analyzing an extensive library of 50,000 reference compounds. They have integrated the PAL System into their laboratory setup to ensure consistent and reliable sample introduction for their GC-MS workflow. So far, they have been impressed with the instrument's robustness, minimal maintenance requirements, and its ability to streamline their high-throughput analysis process. This robustness enables them to measure at an impressive speed of 2.000 spectra per week 💡 Take-home message We are impressed!
