CRC is a method of detecting errors in data transmission. A CRC is information sent within a block of data that is checked by the receiving end to verify if data was all received correctly. A high CRC count in itself is not cause for alarm. However, any substantial increase in CRC errors after your initial connection is established is a problem and usually points to a physical issue somewhere between the modem and the DSLAM.
