Our product, the RTDS Simulator, runs electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulations of the power system in real time.

Real-time EMT simulations enable highly efficient, detailed studies of the power system, allowing engineers to anticipate system and device behaviours that threaten the stability, resilience, and performance of the grid. It allows physical equipment, such as power system protection and control devices or power electronics, to be tested in a closed loop with the simulated network. The interaction between the grid and protection, control, and power devices during system transients can then be studied in great detail over a wide frequency bandwidth.
