Jason brings nearly three decades of expertise in computational fluid dynamics, tunnel ventilation, and fire protection engineering across global high-speed rail, transit, and highway tunnel projects. Luas is 20! With over 10,000 new jobs created along its corridors, half a billion trips made over its lifetime, zero emissions at street level and extensive housing development enabled, Dublin’s Luas LRT system is a modern-day public transport success story. Opening in 2004, constructed on time and within budget, Luas is now truly a part of Dublin – last year 48 million journeys were made on its network and 390,000 people now live within 1km of a Luas stop. Working for Transport Infrastructure Ireland alongside Transport for London Consulting, Wonder Works and Interactions Research, we have produced an easy-to-read report showing the societal, economic and environmental benefits of the Luas network.
