Tonight we unveiled the artwork surrounding Intuit Dome by the incredible LA-Area artists Refik Anadol, Glenn Kaino, Patrick Martinez, Michael Massenburg, Kyungmi Shin, Catherine Opie, Jonas Wood and Jennifer Steinkamp. 🤩

It was a fantastic evening showcasing the amazing artists, Refik Anadol, Jennifer Steinkamp, Charles Gaines, Patrick Martinez, Kyungmi Shin, Michael Massenburg, and Glenn Kaino, who have created works for the Inuit Dome. I had the privilege of sitting in the artists original presentation to the ownership group and was blown away by their concepts and commitment to creating public art. In this video, you can see Rafik Anadol’s installation above the community basketball court, Glenn Kaino’s Clipper Ship installation, and Jill Steinkamps lighting of the AECOM designed building. Bill Hanway, our Global Social Infrastructure Lead, recently spoke to the Los Angeles Times about the ambitious renovation of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games — discussing our innovative approach to building a new track on top of the existing field.   With over 25 years at AECOM, Bill has spearheaded transformative urban regeneration projects for several Olympic games, including London 2012, Rio 2016, and Tokyo 2020. His leadership continues as we bring the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games Plan to life.   This latest renovation to the iconic venue follows the announcement that SoFi Stadium and the Intuit Dome will both serve as integral parts of LA28's venue plan. A hush envelops the crowd as they move the ball down the court, the defense tightens — HERE WE GO! A quick pass to the wing, driving to the basket — AND THERE IT IS! We’re about to slam dunk a major milestone! 🏀✨ With the Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) expected at the end of this month, Project Manager Frank Anderson signs the official TCO Hard Hat. Today, we’re excited to announce our selection by LVXP to design its visionary sports and entertainment arena planned on the Las Vegas Strip. Envisioned with cutting-edge technology and modern design at its core, the NBA-ready arena aims to offer an unparalleled experience for fans and visitors. This win reflects the continued growth and technical expertise of AECOM’s sports design studio, which has been immersed in arena design since 1965. The project will be led by Bill Hanway and Dan Meis, FAIA, two of the world’s foremost experts in sports and entertainment design. “We are excited to work with LVXP as they seek to redefine what it means to be a landmark venue," said Matthew Crane, chief executive of our U.S. West region.
