If you've got the skills to ensure every egg (and chicken!) in the basket meets or exceeds the highest standards, we need you to lead the coop. Position Details: -Lead & Liaise: Direct all plant food safety functions and act as the liaison with the USDA, ensuring everything from the farm to the table is up to scratch. -Ensure Compliance: Guarantee compliance with all food safety regulations, overseeing processes from 1st and 2nd processing to final quality checks. -Drive Excellence: Implement quality control processes, conduct inspections, and champion continuous improvement to keep our operations top-notch. -Team Leadership: Lead a team of FSQA professionals, providing training and mentorship to feather their capabilities and achieve departmental objectives. -Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues, turning feedback into actionable insights. Qualifications: -A degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Poultry Science, or a related field. -Over 4 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing food safety programs. -HACCP certification is preferred, along with strong analytical skills and a knack for problem-solving. -Leadership abilities that allow you to guide and grow your team. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with UltiPro and Workday. Work Environment: -Be prepared to work across various environments, from the office to the plant floor. -Willingness to travel to multiple plant locations for about 15-20% of your time.
