McDonald's is 50 in the UK now. The latest campaign from Leo Burnett UK is lush and sparked some forgotten memories. I think a lot of people are going to fondly look back while looking at this campaign. I actually forgot McDonald's did birthdays. It was a big deal back in the day. It was the only thing pulling me away from the Gameboy. Another note, I thought 80s nostalgia was completely played out at this stage too... it turns out, only when it's done poorly.
