One fan theory suggests that Loki will be the one to bring back his friends to the TVA, as he wants to be reunited with them. 'Loki' Season 2 Teaser: Tom Hiddleston And Owen Wilson Starrer 'Loki' Official Teaser
The Tom Hiddleston starrer 'Loki' is nearing its grand Season 2 finale next week and after today's episode, social media is abuzz about the events that take place in the Time Variance Authority (TVA). In the new episode that aired today, jaws hit the floor when fans were able to connect the dots that may just set the show up to be the most important event that occured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Avengers: Endgame'.
Those keeping up with the show will know that the penultimate episode, titled "Science/Fiction," unravels the past lives of TVA agents we have come to know in Season 1 and 2.
It is revealed that the destruction of the Time Loom sends individuals back to their original timelines, where He Who Remains initially plucked them to transform into his soldiers.

Casey, the hapless evidence collector in the TVA, is discovered breaking out of Alcatraz in a branched timeline in 1962. Hunter B-15, was previously a pediatrician in New York City back in 2012. The intriguing twists continue with Mobius, portrayed by Owen Wilson, who sold Jet Skis in 2022, albeit as a single dad to two troublesome boys. As for OB, he is a scientist and aspiring science fiction writer in 1994, after Loki gifts him a TVA handbook, thus influencing him to successfully build a TemPad.
Unlike others, Sylvie, who also plays a female variant of Loki, is the only one of the lot, who distinctly remembers her Variant. However, Sylvie's contentment in her new life is short-lived as her timeline undergoes a phenomenon, leading to the end of her timeline and other such timelines across the Multiverse.
Loki, on witnessing his friends' deaths, masters his time-slipping abilities and returns to the TVA right before Victor Timely's unsuccessful attempt to save the organization created by his Variant. His new abilities to "rewrite the story" suggest his potential as one of the most powerful beings in the Multiverse. The fan theory raises questions about whether this aligns with He Who Remains' intentions and what it means for the Asgardian moving forward.

Another fan theory suggests a more complicated, yet believable chain of events. It states that as all characters are sent back to their original timelines, Loki is going to be the one who finds and brings them back to the TVA. In the episode, Loki says, "I want my friends back. I don’t want to be alone." The viral fan theory explains, "So Loki is actually the person who took them from their OG timelines and brought them to the TVA, which is why in episode 2, Mobius said he'd like to 'Thank the person who brought him to the TVA'. BECAUSE IT WAS LOKI, he just doesn't remember."

Another stated that the character may just be going through major arc from playing the God of Mischief to now becoming the God of Stories, much like in the comic books.

Rumours are rife about Loki possibly reentering the MCU and meeting his brother Thor again in a future film. This, coupled with reports of Marvel contemplating bringing back their original 6 Avengers - Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk and Hawkeye - to boost up their films at the box office, it may not be so hard to imagine this rumour proving to be true in the near future.

The series stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, along with Jonathan Majors, Ke Huy Quan, and Owen Wilson.
