Thalapathy Vijay is one of the most influential actors in the South, with an immense fan following. Vijay recently announced his political entry and launched his political party, Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam. He has been consistently congratulating the top
students of classes 10 and 12 in Tamil Nadu by distributing prize money. Continuing this practice, Vijay congratulated the top students from the last academic year, and on June 28, he felicitated the first group of students.
Today (July 3) in Chennai, he resumed the second phase of felicitations and made an important statement while honoring students.
Thalapathy Vijay voiced his opposition to the NEET exam, stating that it adversely affects students from underprivileged families. He explained the history behind the evolution of the NEET exam and how its control shifted from the state to the central government. Vijay criticized the education system for being divided by various syllabus schemes and called for a unified education system in the country. He argued that due to malpractices, the credibility of NEET has been compromised and suggested that it should be banned. Additionally, he encouraged students to remain confident, as their confidence will lead them to success.
After launching his political party, Vijay's bold statements have sparked a debate on social media.
