Vikram Singh is PU security chief
Chandigarh: The competent authority of Panjab University has retained Vikram Singh as its new chief of security. Vikram has been a member of the university for the past 16 years and was serving as chief of security on a contractual basis.
Before joining the university, he has had a 20-year career in the Indian Air Force. Notably, during the Kargil operation, he led the OSA-AK (M) missile system at the border, ensuring the security of the airfield at Uttarlai station of the Air Force.
