2 die by suicide in 24 hours
Chandigarh: In two separate incidents, two persons allegedly died by suicide in the past 24 hours. The incidents were reported from Burail village and Bapudham colony.
No suicide notes have been recovered from crime scenes, said the police.
The victims have been identified as Amit, age 19, a resident of Burail village, Sector 45, and Ganesh, age 24, a resident of Bapudham colony in Sector 26.

The police received a message that a person hanged himself from a ceiling fan in Burial on Friday late night.
The have police have ruled out any foul play as no external injury marks were found on the body. However, they said that the exact cause of death would be known only after the autopsy report.
In the second incident, Sector 26 police were informed by the family of the victim, Ganesh, that he had hanged himself. TNN
