SAD to BJP: Ensure central agency probe

Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Thursday said former MLA and BJP candidate for Jalandhar West assembly constituency bypoll Sheetal Angural has made serious corruption allegations against Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann and his family members, and BJP should ensure a thorough probe in the case from the central agencies.
SAD legal cell head and chief spokesperson Arshdeep Singh Kler said former AAP MLA Angural said it was the first time that corruption allegations against the CM’s family members and AAP MLAs have been made in public.State govt, especially CM who enjoys reciting ‘kikli’ (poem) in public by mocking opposition parties, should respond, he said. tnn
