PUTA members seek relief
Chandigarh: PUTA members are requesting a waiver for the unpaid subscription/membership fee of Rs 500 per year. The information was conveyed in a letter addressed to PUTA secretary, saying: “We are of the opinion that PUTA remained inactive for the last two years with hardly any executive general body meeting. As such an amount of Rs 11,10,834 is lying as fixed deposit and sufficient money (more than Rs 5 lakh) for day-to-day working is available in PUTA bank accounts.”
