Olson was a Human male, and a Starfleet officer in the 23rd century of the Kelvin timeline created by Nero's temporal incursion.

Biography[]

In 2255, Olson served as chief engineer on the USS Farragut during the Starfleet Academy Zeta Fleet Training Exercise. (TOS - Starfleet Academy novel: The Gemini Agent)

Olson's name is misspelled "Olsen" in The Gemini Agent.

In 2258, Olson served as chief engineer of the USS Enterprise until his death on a mission to disable the plasma drill being used by Nero to attack Vulcan. (TOS movie & novelization: Star Trek)
