The ProVeg Incubator, backed by ProVeg International, is the world's first and leading acceleration program for plant-based, fermentation, and cultured-food startups. We are shaping the future of food by exclusively supporting pioneering startups that are developing disruptive alternatives to animal-based products and services. Since its launch in November 2018, the ProVeg Incubator has worked with 90+ startups from all over the world, helping them to raise more than €250 million and launch products in over 15,000 stores. Our mission is to reduce the global consumption of animals by 50% by 2040.

    Let’s recap what our cohort 12 startups have been up to over the last few weeks 🚀  🎯 Indy Kaur from Plant Futures held an informative workshop on ‘The Route to Market’. The workshop covered essential topics such as #gotomarket strategies, understanding target markets, and effectively approaching B2B players. 💰 The founders engaged in an interactive workshop on #pricing strategies with Frank Bilstein, founder of Donanto Foundation and partner emeritus at Kearney. He is an expert with more than 200 pricing and monetisation projects in all industries and all major markets. 📈 Three corporate stakeholders: Nicolas Dorsaz from Bühler Group, Kerri Crossey from Kerry, and Kashif Khan from Cargill, had one-on-one breakout sessions. The sessions were a valuable #networking opportunity and provided insights into #industrytrends. 🔎 Martin Habfast, Co-Founder of Umiami, led an enlightening session on mastering #sales techniques tailored for industrial settings. In this session, they discussed effective approaches for engaging prospects, navigating the complexities of a long-cycle B2B sales process, and much more. 📜 Hannah Lester, the CEO of ATOVA Regulatory Consulting, SL, shared her knowledge of the #regulatory hurdles and barriers for different #altprotein technologies, helping our startups navigate the complex regulatory landscape. 🤝🏻 Steve Molino, one of the most mission-aligned investors in the alternative protein space, and Larry Taylor, the co-founder of The Yield Lab Asia Pacific, interacted closely with our founders in break-out rooms, offering personalised advice and strategic guidance.     🐶 Want to help power the #PlantBasedDogFood revolution? Here at ProVeg International, we 💚 dogs! They're our friends, companions, and occasional colleagues! That's why we want to feed them as well as we feed ourselves. 😍 Meet THE PACK | Certified B Corp - a British dog food company that is a) 100% nutritionally complete, b) has a reduced carbon pawprint, and c) is a certified B-Corp. 🥦 They use real beans, seeds, fruits, and vegetables to power our pups without harming other animals, and using far less planetary resources. We were lucky enough to to get some samples at ProVeg HQ, and even our more discerning colleagues (like Poly here) were very impressed! The British startup creates delicious #tempeh that is made from just three simple ingredients.
