    🥩 🌱 By combining meat and plants, we're expanding our affordable food range and introducing MAGGI’s first meat extender. Developed by our experts and chefs, MAGGI Rindecarne is a tasty, plant-based meat alternative. The mix of soy and spices allows consumers to prepare a dish combining meat and plant-based proteins, while doubling the amount of servings at an affordable price. When adding MAGGI Rindecarne to minced meat, the prepared dish retains its nutritional value without compromising on taste. Additionally, it's versatile and customizable and can be used to prepare all minced meat top dishes.     We recently held our Nestlé Venture Day at our headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland, where we invited some of our Nestlé Venture Funds and their portfolio companies to showcase their solutions and share their entrepreneurial vision. The event brought together entrepreneurs, investors and Nestlé professionals to explore next generation business models, health and nutrition trends and disruptive innovation in the startup space. It also gave Nestlé employees the chance to experience their exciting products – from delicious foods and drinks to pet care, health and wellness and a solution to improve the carbon footprint of our milk supply. Our venture capital funds enable us to identify and access cutting edge technologies, while also serving as a source of inspiration and providing an excellent opportunity to collaborate with exciting companies. Through Nestlé’s open innovation ecosystem, we work with innovative companies to strengthen entrepreneurship and drive research and development.     Last week, we hosted our annual PhD Day at the Nestlé Research campus in Lausanne, Switzerland. Organized by Nestlé PhD students, the event is a unique opportunity to foster the next generation of scientists and showcase to the wider Nestlé community all the great work the Nestlé PhD students are doing. During the day, students from the global Nestlé PhD community were able to share and discuss their research through flash talks and poster sessions. They also participated in workshops and networking events to gain new insights on professional growth and career development. Through our academic partnerships and open innovation ecosystem, we can share resources and expertise to develop the solutions of the future together. A huge thank you to PhD Day organizing committee members Niamh Gowen, Minji Huh, Maryann R., Gautier Le Guillas, and Marie Tassy for putting together the event!
