Excellent, quick responsive customer service with good personal advice.
I recommend the data backup and recovery software because it is very easy to use and user friendly.

Finally bought EaseUS Partition Master…

Finally bought EaseUS Partition Master after using the free version for a long time. Had a bit of a hickup with the payment but they sorted me out in no time. I always thought I'd never need any more functions than the free version gave me but boy is that a tool once you go pro. I bought a new SSD but never really got around to use it right until now. Price is fine as hell. Can wholeheartedly recommend.

a ss saved

I lost all my sheet music just before the big recital. Luckily I was able to get it back with the free Datarecovery software from EaseUS.

I was gonna buy the software but the lady in customer service told me that I can use the free version since I only have to recover a few MBs. Rare to meet this kind of honesty these days. Would definitely recommend it to my friend!

The Data Recovery Wizard does not work…

The Data Recovery Wizard does not work as expected. Instead of recovering the correct files, even with almost 2 hours of technical support from EaseUS, the software can only recover the raw files without any structure of location and file names. Among thousands of the recovered files without previous file names, there is no way the users can screen through these mostly garbage files to identify the few files intended to recover. It is even more difficult and time consuming than looking for a needle in haystack! After hours of efforts, I finally gave up and leave alone those raw files.

Regarding EaseUS' reply on screening the Raw files on Date:
As the original file locations and names cannot be recovered, the suggestion of filtering the Raw files on the originally created date is not possible.
That is not practical at all to go through the thousands of Raw files with only generic file names such as FILE001.MP4 ... FILE2607.MP4, trying to figure out which one is the one you really want to recover while having no original file name and date present. Again, the option of filtering with original created date as EaseUS suggested is not possible. The date column now only shows the current scan date, but not the original created date of the lost files.

Dear George,

We're sorry to hear our data-recovery software was not able to help you in this case. As you know recovering RAW files is not easy.

In order to find them, you can use filters, but if there are too many files then it can still be a painful and lengthy process. If the name of the file is lost or unknown, a direct search won't yield anything useful either. If the preview feature is available for the file, the best thing is probably to filter out as much as possible and look for it that way.

If the files you are looking for can't be sensibly previewed, though, probably the last option is to search with 'star' and file extension (for example *.exe) in the search bar. If you can recall the date of the last time you altered the file, that might help you narrow it down even more.

We hope you still find a way to get your data back, somehow. We'll certainly use your criticism as an impetus to develop better ways to search and recover RAW files.

SCAMWARE, BAD SERVICE, ANNOYANCE GUARANTEED

Downloaded the trial, it found files, so I bought the software. Upon "restoring" the files none of them are of any use. They aren't even the right files.

Now I've been trying for days to get my refund and it's virtually impossible. They have sent emails trying to do remote sessions (not sure what for) and for me to buy something else from them. BAD BAD BAD

DO NOT BUY THIS, THE MONEY BACK GUARANTEE IS A TOTAL SHAM AND A GIANT PAIN

I have lost my video footage

I have lost my video footage, this software really much helps me to recover a big number of my footage in good condition with quality above.
EaseUS you are the Champion so kind to follow your client after buying your product and this is fundamental for the clients.

Great support, thanks !
Had a problem after upgrading to 11.0 with starting the todo Backup-Software. Support came shortly with a remote session and EaseUS fixed it in 20 minutes. Thanks again !

Single, essential file found and restored

I needed to recover a single file from the Library file that had disappeared for unknown reasons (maybe when installed newest OS, High Sierra). This file is essential for the function of an app my wife uses. Only had fresh clone backups, both local and in the cloud, so the file was not retained on either of those. First tried another product (their website implied that EaseUS was ripping off aspects of its proprietary program). After 12 hour scan, file not found. If the program had found it, it would have cost $89 to restore it. Tried EaseUS. Found the file in 4 hour scan, allowed me to recover it free since it was under the 2 GB limit.

we're sorry you are upset. The problem you describe can be fixed by downloading the free version of Data Recovery Wizard. The trial version is meant so that customers can test the pro version pre-purchase, whereas the free version can restore 500MB of data for free (even 2GB if you click the 'share' button in the wizard). We understand that the distinction between free and trial version can be confusing. We will do our best to be more forthright in the future.

I am so glad to have found this product…

I am so glad to have found this product EaseUs Data Recovery Wizard. I ran into many technical problems in the process of recovery before and after my purchase but I always get quick responses and helpful suggestions. I wrote them my problems via emails and I was directed to the LiveChat for help remotely. Considering I am living in Asia (time difference) and I am able to get such instant help, it shows the commitment of the company in serving its clients professionally and efficiently.
