Hi! My name is Kimberly Moore and I am the Library Media Specialist here at CHS. This year marks my 13th year in education and is my 1st year at CHS. I am a graduate of Jacksonville State University and have a degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Master’s degree in Library Media Science from the University of West Alabama. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy. I have spent much of my career in the middle grades and absolutely love teaching and learning alongside my “big kids!” This is my dream job and I am super excited to continue my journey with the students and staff at CHS! I have been married to my husband, Matt, (who is a high school Social Studies teacher and coach) for 13 years. We have two beautiful little girls- Carridy, who is eight years old and is in 3rd grade, and Sullivan, who is two. Two spoiled pups, Luna and Teddy, complete our household! We enjoy spending time playing games, watching movies, going on adventures, and cooking together. When not with my crazy crew, you can often find me curled up with a good book and a cup of coffee, painting/drawing, or crafting.
