This is Warren Duke's second year as a teacher. He will be teaching Foundations of Health Science and Human Body in the career tech building here at Childersburg High School. He is also planning to teach an afterschool EMT class in the fall. Mr. Duke is a Talladega native and is married to Leigh Anne Duke. Their two children, Warren IV and Peyson, are 364 days apart and keep smiles on their faces. Duke has been a paramedic for 8 years and accrued approximately 14 years' worth of experience in the field by working multiple jobs in EMS. He holds an associate's degree in applied science business marketing and EMT-Paramedic. He is planning to attend Central Washington University this year to attain his BS in Community Paramedicine. Mr. Duke says his first year was phenomenal and he can't wait to see what next year holds.
